Dem-on-Dem Sleeze: Gragert Research Inc.

A sleezy opposition research firm has surfaced in Democratic races in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Has anyone heard of Gragert Research?

The Capital Times Newspaper (Madison, WI) is covering Gragert Research's involvement in Wisconsin's Attorney General primary race. There are references to Gragert's involvement in Minnesota's AG Dem primary race.

Wisconsin Dems call for IMPEACHMENT OF BUSH, CHENEY, & RUMSFELD

The Wisconsin Democratic Party adopted this resolution at their annual convention yesterday, June 11, 2005:

Resolved to Impeach -

WHEREAS, the Downing Street Memo shows that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld began planning and executing the war on Iraq before seeking Congressional and UN approval;

WHEREAS, UN weapons inspectors showed prior to the invasion that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq; and

WHEREAS, there is further mounting evidence that the Administration lied or misled about "mushroom clouds," "connections to 9/11," and "war as a last resort" as they sought UN, Congressional, and public approvals;

THEREFORE, RESOLVED, the DPW asks Congress to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld.

Hey Wisconsin! State Dem Party Convention June 10 & 11

Deadline to become a delegate to the state convention is Friday, May 27.  Less than two weeks away! Contact your county party ASAP to register as a delegate or an alternate.  Wisconsin Dems elect new leadership this year.  See the candidates' websites at:

http://www.jefframmelt.org    and    http://www.winekehonold.com

Jeff Rammelt is the reform candidate and the grassroots' choice. Joe Wineke is the Governor's handpicked lackey and a lobbyist for gaming interests.  Need I say more?

Democratic seats in the statehouse have been slipping away election after election in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Dem Party needs new blood and a new approach.  Let's put a Dean Democrat into the chair's seat by electing Jeff Rammelt.

It's all about turnout.  The convention is June 10-11 in Oshkosh, but you only need to be there are Saturday, June 11 before 11am to vote for the new leadership.

In addition to attending the convention to vote for Jeff Rammelt, please consider donating to his campaign, even just a few bucks.  He's been funding the entire effort himself, driving all over the state for the last two years.  He doesn't have the financial resources of his opponent.  Even a few modest donations will be greatly appreciated. You can donate at http://jefframmelt.org

Dem Party Crushing the Grassroots

A DFA Meetup got steamrolled by the State Dem Party Bosses yesterday in Wisconsin. For a swing state, you'd think they'd show more respect for the grassroots.

Dems swing party chair vote by crashing grass-roots meeting

By Samara Kalk Derby
The Capital Times
April 7, 2005

Local Democratic Party members crashed a meeting of Democracy for Wisconsin after learning that the group was voting to endorse a little-known, grass-roots contender for Wisconsin Democratic Party chairman.

About 100 people packed into a small upstairs room at the Madison Public Library downtown Wednesday night. The standing-room-only crowd was more than twice the number that typically shows up for the citizen group's monthly meetings and swung the endorsement vote in their favor.
